Electronic Stimulation
What to Expect?
• Electrodes placed over affected muscle groups
• Gentle pulses to activate nerves and muscles
• 10–20 minute sessions
• Often used as a prep or recovery treatment
Neuromuscular Support for Recovery
Electronic stimulation (also known as e-stim) uses controlled electrical impulses to stimulate muscles and nerves. It’s a safe, non-invasive therapy designed to ease pain, reduce inflammation, and restore proper muscle function.
How It Works
Small pads (electrodes) are placed on the skin over targeted areas. During the session, low-level electrical currents are sent through these pads, causing muscles to contract and release. Most patients describe the sensation as light tingling or rhythmic pulsing.
When We Use It
E-stim is commonly used for muscle re-education, injury recovery, or to loosen up tight areas before an adjustment. It’s also effective for managing nerve-related pain or chronic conditions like sciatica and tendonitis.
Complementary and Convenient
This treatment is often paired with chiropractic adjustments, laser therapy, or decompression. Sessions are quick and comfortable, with no downtime afterward.
